There's a growing realization that traditional performance practices struggle to match the pace of modern work environments. Annual reviews, 360 feedback and 1-on-1s lack automation, leading to cumbersome, manual processes which drain time and energy from business delivery.
Taito.ai was founded based on our experiences at Smartly.io, where growth-minded people and extraordinary company culture faced the challenges of traditional performance management—disconnected reviews, low-quality feedback and tools added unnecessary complexity during periods of exceptional growth and didn’t help people to improve their performance in a meaningful way. When no solution existed, we considered building our own, laying the foundation for Taito.ai.
Coming from the marketing automation world we thought that there has to be a way to do this, especially with the rise of new AI technologies. Guided by people, AI can bring a new level of visibility into developing performance, reduce repetitive tasks, automate the things that can be automated and gather data easily from all feedback touchpoints, without ever compromising employee privacy and data security.
So, we built Taito.ai (named after the Finnish word for ‘skill’), the first all-in-one AI-powered platform for enabling growth and development in a way that feels natural, not forced.
