Go from Ashby hire to onboarding automatically

Overview

The Ashby integration connects Taito.ai, the people operations system, to your Ashby pipeline. Ashby creates each hired candidate as a Taito.ai employee, with name, contact details, job title, and start date already filled in.

Pipeline events start agents. When you mark a candidate hired, the onboarding agent assigns the onboarding tasks and books the first 1:1 before day one. Taito.ai never creates or edits candidates, jobs, or stages in Ashby.

How it works

Create employees from new hires

Ashby sends each new hire to Taito.ai as an employee, with work email, phone, job title, and start date mapped.

Start agents from the pipeline

A candidate moving to a new stage can start an agent. The onboarding agent starts the moment you mark a candidate hired.

Recruitment context for agents

The Assistant and agents read candidate and job data from Ashby, within the recruiting permission.

Set up

1. In Ashby, turn on the Taito.ai integration in the integrations marketplace and copy the API key. The key needs both Read and Write access.
2. Paste the key in Taito.ai under Settings → Integrations → Ashby.
3. Create a Taito.ai service user that can add people, and paste its key into Ashby’s HRIS settings. Ashby then sends new hires to Taito.ai.
