People data and time off, right inside Slack

Overview

The Slack integration brings the Slack agent from Taito.ai, the people operations system, into your workspace. Employees ask about policies and balances, request time off, and act on requests from a DM.

Answers come from live people data, scoped to the permissions of whoever asks. Taito.ai sends reminders for open tasks and performance review cycles to Slack on time.

How it works

Ask the Slack agent

Ask about people data and policies, take action on requests, or manage your people agents from a DM.

Request and approve time off

Request leave from the Slack App Home, or ask the Slack agent to do it. Taito.ai notifies the right approver. Works on mobile too.

Get reminders on time

Open tasks and performance review cycles send their reminders to Slack, so nobody has to follow up by hand.

Set up

1. A Slack workspace admin opens Settings → Integrations in Taito.ai and authorizes the Taito.ai app. Anyone else can request the connection from an admin during the flow.
2. The Taito.ai app becomes visible to everyone in the workspace.
3. Each person connects their own Slack account from their profile settings, or during onboarding.
